About the Project

The design of this house started as a remodel & addition to a modest 1970’s ranch style home on a river lot near the confluence of the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, but evolved into an elegant new home with French Country, Tudor Revival, and Texas Hill Country influences.

The owner’s use of architectural antiques and reclaimed materials helps bring the house to life, including an elaborately carved English pub that he had in storage for years. We integrated the pub into the layout of the house as a very functional conversation piece.

The rooms flow together well, and provide a great place for entertaining large parties indoors and out.

Dale Dibello designed this house when he was Vice President at Eubanks Group Architects.
