About the Project
Our clients owned a small home on a lot in Landa Park Estates in New Braunfels and would visit on weekends to enjoy Comal Springs. They loved the location, but they desired a new home that could comfortably accommodate overnight guests.
They wanted a new, charming house that not only fit the scale and character of the neighborhood, but also had ample space for entertaining.
They enlisted Dibello Architects for the new house because they were intrigued by a small cottage that Dale Dibello designed for a very challenging 25’-wide lot in the same neighborhood.
To help our client gain a larger usable footprint than the current-day Zoning Ordinance would allow within their small lot, we helped them request a building-line setback variance from the City.
The house we designed for them is a light-filled Modern Farmhouse Style cottage with space for entertaining and plenty of space for overnight guests.
