Spicer looks to the time-tested solutions found in regional, historic precedents as the starting point for creating beautiful architecture that is timeless. He enjoys bringing the harmony, balance, and ornament found in classical architecture into his work.

Spicer received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, School of Architecture, where he won the Andrew F. Kervick Award for Hand Drawing of Highest Merit over the entire course of study. He lived in Rome for a year studying architecture.

He is a monogram winning athlete who was a 4-year member of the National Championship Fencing team at the University of Notre Dame.

His experience includes Residential and Commercial Architecture, and working at the Museum of Fine Arts – Houston on their museum expansion project.

Spicer’s interests include drawing, film, music, language learning, and outdoor activities. On the weekend, he can often be found hiking or kayaking in beautiful Central Texas.
