Joey takes a classical approach to design, working within the language of the traditional, vernacular design precedents of the region, and rooting each project to the landscape.

As Senior Project Designer for Dibello Architects, Joey is responsible for project design and management from schematic design through the completion of construction, including ongoing communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and craftsmen.

His goal is to create honest, comfortable spaces that give the user an intimate relationship with the site. He wants the homes he designs to be places with long-lasting value that people love to live in.

Joey received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Texas San Antonio, College of Architecture, graduating with honors.

Joey serves on the New Braunfels Historic Landmark Commission. He likes sketching, watercolor painting, and playing softball. He is married and has a daughter and son.
