About

Ambia loves figuring out how all of the parts of the project go together. Each day she weaves together pieces of the puzzle in drawings that support the design intent.

Ambia has known she wanted to be an architect since the 2nd grade – when her teacher saw her evocative drawing of a tree in winter, she encouraged her to become an architect! She took that prompting to heart, and feels blessed to do the work she enjoys.

Ambia loves figuring out how all of the parts and pieces of the project go together. Her role as Job Captain is a perfect match for this – each day she weaves together pieces of the puzzle in drawings that support the design intent. She likes seeing it all come together in the completed construction drawings and at the jobsite.

She is responsible for design development, construction drawings, and construction administration on several projects at a time.

Ambia has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas San Antonio, College of Architecture. Her experience includes traditional residential architecture and a variety of commercial project types.

Ambia enjoys being outdoors and gardening – particularly vegetable gardening and hydroponics.

She and her husband enjoy time with their two young boys, instilling in them values of learning and curiosity through travel, museum visits, and other activities.
